The Devon Family History Society

The Society’s objects are to promote the study of genealogy and history, especially of Devon families and places, to educate the public therein through advice and instruction, and, for the public benefit, to encourage the preservation and transcription of relevant documents and records, especially for the county of Devon.

Tree House Research Centre

Tree House is the Society’s research centre in Exeter, we can help people to find their ancestors wherever they come from.

Meetings: All Group, committee and other face to face meetings are suspended. We are maintaining contact electronically using ZOOM, including a programme of regular well attended talks/meetings. Contact:  We will not have the use of most of the facilities of our Research Centre, but feel free to contact us at home using the link here. This includes Research enquiries, and we will assist as far as we are able.
