DFHS - Indexes

The index service has proved to be most useful - by email, post, personal callers at Tree House and at the various fairs at which the Society has been represented. We accept cheques in Sterling, and credit or debit cards.

Marriages

Printouts from the 1754-1812, 1813-1837 and Plymouth post-1837 Marriage Indexes are available. The printout will show the following information :-

Groom name
Bride Name
Date of marriage
Parish Name
Notes indicator (1754-1812 only)

Printouts for all entries for a specified surname from the 1754-1812 marriage index can be supplied for the following charges :-

Printout by Email attachment is 1 penny per entry
Postal printouts is 30 pence per sheet plus handling charge

This index is an ongoing project and a list of Parishes transcribed to date can be seen on this web-site on the Parishes page. Any subsequent requests will include all Parishes transcribed up to the date of your enquiry and will include those already received.

Printouts from the 1848-1872 Ford Park Burial Index are available. The printout will list all occurrences of a specific name, within the date range, from the burial registers for Ford Park Cemetery, Plymouth. It will also indicate the position of the grave. Printouts from the Small Projects Index are available. The Small Projects Booklets have been created jointly with the Devon Record Office. The printout will list all occurrences of a specific name from the transcribed documents and registers within the Small Projects booklets.
