Explanation
The purpose of this page is to provide a rough guide to the
location of Devon's Parishes within the county. For large-scale
maps of Devon parish oulines, see the links at GENUKI: Devon
Maps
Instructions Click on any of the parishes
listed to see its approximate location (shown as
) within the
county. A second click on a parish removes it from the map. Where a
large town has many parishes, the town is listed once in the list
with an asterisk, and is shown in a different colour on the map
(
). All parishes may be removed at once by clicking the
'Clear Parishes' button. A few principal towns in Devon may be
shown (as
) or
removed by clicking the 'Show Towns' button. Clicking any parish on
the map will open a new browser window with our page that contains
the selected parish.
If you think that a Parish has been omitted or is in the wrong
location, please contact the
. It is also worth looking at the GENUKI Devon
Parishes page to see if a parish has been renamed, or if the
Parish containing a town is named differently to the town.
