Arrive by train at the recently re-opened Okehampton Station; or by car - leaving the A30 at either Whiddon Down or Okehampton, it is a short trip to Sticklepath.

For One Day only, this small village on the northern edge of Dartmoor will come to life with talks, visits and displays to delight and surprise.

Visit the recently opened St Mary’s Heritage Centre, the Quaker Burying Ground and (National Trust) Finch Foundry. With heritage to spot as you walk through the village, characters to meet along the way, family and house histories in evidence, plus time to chat with fellow members.

The day will start in Sticklepath Village Hall, opposite the old Wesleyan Methodist Chapel. You need to bring your own lunch to eat in the village hall, visit the village shop, or make your own booking with the Taw River Inn or Devonshire Inn. Toilets, tea and coffee facilities available throughout the day in the village hall.
