A Woman’s Place: finding out about women in the archives – Wanda Wyporska, former CEO of the Society of Genealogists and an internationally renowned speaker

Esme on the case – the route from research to plot – Wendy Percival, family historian and author of historical novels with a genealogical storyline

Maritime heritage stories from the Torridge – Mike Teare of Way of the Wharves historical research group.

Speakers – Displays – Discussions – Networking – Stalls – Chat

There will be displays and bookstalls, as well as a chance to explore the village, church and Methodist church during the extended lunch break. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat in the hall; tea and coffee will be provided. The only place to eat in the village is the Coach and Horses www.coachandhorses.pub/. Booking is required if you wish to eat there. The village shop closes at 12, so will not be available for purchases. There is plenty of free parking.
