A Woman’s Place: finding out about women in the archives – Wanda Wyporska, former CEO of the Society of Genealogists and an internationally renowned speaker

Esme on the case – the route from research to plot – Wendy Percival, family historian and author of historical novels with a genealogical storyline

Maritime heritage stories from the Torridge – Mike Teare of Way of the Wharves historical research group.

There will be displays and bookstalls, as well as a chance to explore the village, church and Methodist church during the extended lunch break. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat in the hall; tea and coffee will be provided. The only place to eat in the village is the Coach and Horses Booking is required if you wish to eat there. The village shop closes at 12, so will not be available for purchases. You are able to add a Meat or Vegetable Pasty, or Soup and a Roll to your booking for £3 – these need to be ordered in advance. There is plenty of free parking.

Spaces may be limited, Cost £10 per person (under 25s free – booking required). Please select ticket type required – additional tickets can be added at the checkout.
